Hi, I’m Daniel, the owner of Colmenares Photography. For over 10 years I’ve been capturing some of life’s biggest moments, and there are few moments more exciting than a surprise proposal.

I specialize in creating a stress-free experience from start to finish. Before your proposal, we’ll work together to plan every detail—from choosing the perfect location and lighting to figuring out the best place for me to stay hidden so your partner never sees me coming. My goal is to capture genuine emotion without interrupting the moment.

One of my favorite places to photograph proposals is Universal Orlando. Whether you’re planning to propose in front of Hogwarts Castle, around CityWalk, at one of the beautiful Universal hotels, or inside one of the parks where photography is permitted, I’ll help you plan the perfect surprise and document every second. I’ll also recommend the best time of day to avoid crowds and get the most beautiful light. Many couples also choose to celebrate with an engagement session around the resort after the proposal.
