I’m Daniel, a Central Florida Wedding Photographer.

I started Colmenares Photography over a decade ago with a camera, a passion for storytelling, and the wild idea that photography should be fun—not forced.
Fast forward 300+ weddings, and I still feel honored every time I get to document two people making one of the biggest commitments of their lives. My job is to be your calm, creative presence—capturing every laugh, tear, and unscripted moment so you can relive them forever.
Outside of weddings, I’m probably watching something nerdy (yes, I did do a Harry Potter engagement shoot at Universal) or location scouting for another epic photo idea.

Most couples book 8–12 months in advance, but I also accommodate last-minute dates if available.

We believe the best photos are created within the context of a story – your story! We take the time to understand who you and your partner are and your journey towards falling in love so that we can make images that represent YOU! Your good sides, the way you hide your head in his chest, and all unique ways that make you perfect for one another.

Do you offer Photography & Videography?
Yes. As a central Florida Wedding photographer I offer both, and booking them together helps your day run smoother.

Do you travel for destination weddings and elopements?
Yes, I love to travel for destination weddings and elopements! Travel fees and accommodations are typically additional and can be discussed during our consultation.

How long will it take to receive our photos after the event?
We understand you’re excited to see your photos! My typical turnaround time as a central Florida wedding photographer is 4-6 weeks for wedding photos and 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions. We take great care in editing each image to ensure they meet our high standards. You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery within a week after your event to tide you over while we complete the full gallery.
