Nestled on one of the oldest sites on New River Dr in Ft Lauderdale Florida, Historic Maxwell room is a stunning venue with lots of option’s to have your dream wedding! The river provides an incredible view of the high rise buildings, and you can watch the boats sail by all the time! There is also a vintage garden which you can use for your ceremonies’ or if you prefer to have it indoor there’s also options for indoor ceremonies. You can also take your wedding portraits here, and no need to worry about angles here. It’s very difficult to get a bad photo here in this beautiful setting! The property was originally built in 1925, and is an example of the Boom period’s Mediterranean Revival architecture, and features elegant European-inspired architecture. This venue would be an ideal choice for those that want to have an upscale wedding of their dreams.

My personal favorite spot here is the river which provides a gorgeous background with the high rise buildings and yachts sailing by! this spot never get’s old and I highly recommend it!
What is the best time to have your ceremonies at Historic Maxwell Room?
My personal favorite time is to do your ceremony at least an hour or 2 hours, before the sunset for the best possible light which is the “golden hour light” this is when the lighting appears to be warmer, and there would be less visible shadows which would make life easier!
