Captain hiram’s sandbar events is a unique wedding, and event venue that is located in Sebastian in Florida. This location holds 86 guest rooms and has romantic, and stunning views of the Indian River. This venue will bring you back in time and will make you feel like you’re on an island! Think of paradise, and palm trees surrounding you along with the view of the river! The Tiffany Room is the main room which is on the second floor, and has large windows all round showing a view of the Indian River! This room also has a dance floor. This is the perfect option for an indoor ceremony, or outdoor but at this venue we prefer the outdoor option. The outdoor option is at Bimini Beach which is right next to the sandbar. This gives you a direct view of the Indian River, and also has views of the boardwalks and sail boats sailing by, how cool is that! This is one of our more popular venues and one of our favorites because, the views here are stunning and never gets old! If you really want to stand out for your wedding, you can even anchor on the shores of Sebastian River This venue also has 2 restaurants, 4 bars, 2 hotels, full service marina, and live music, so you would never be bored here!

The best time to take photos here is an hour before before sunset. Any other time can be done but we would strongly suggest an hour before sunset which is what we call “golden hour”

I think the best time of the year to get married here is during the fall or spring, because these seasons aren’t overly hot, and sometimes we get cold fronts coming through so I think these seasons are absolutely perfect!

I think the best spots for family photos should be done in front of the arch which has a view of the Indian River, and for the bridal portraits I personally like to go to the board walk and take symmetrical photos there which gives amazing results!, and sometimes you can have a bird or sailboat photobomb you!
